What have I been up too....

Even though I am not technically an enrolled student, I am still doing research and learning nrew things. I have my little side projects and things I do for fun. For the most part I have been engaged in teaching biology, graphic arts, and staying abreast with educational technology. More than anything I am very interested with the future of education and some of the ways that technology can be used to increase learning outcomes.

Also, I am planning to sail to the Bahamas this summer. I started a blog, which is really intended to host content I publish while on the trip and once I get back. Here is the website: bahamasecologicalstudies.com. My dad and I are going, not only to sail but to do some research. My intnentions are to interview some of the officials, scientists, and locals in order to create several interactive online lessons to teach students about the ecology of the Bahamas. More specifically, marine biology and the impact that humans are having on the region. The greatest example would be the coral bleaching that is taking place right now.
